Force Thirteen Celebrates 10 Years with Force Thirteen Week 2021

Started in 2011, Force Thirteen has been at the forefront of tropical cyclone monitoring around the world. Originally a one-man team by the founder, Nathan Foy, and others joined in 2015. The project is famed for its graphics presentation, video updates, and live streaming services, along with a variety of features shown in various channels. Force Thirteen remains independent and believes in effective communication to the people, especially those in the path of such dangerous storms. The project has seen successes and challenges, and the members sought to step forward. The organization’s community has grown much over the past decade and five regional channels have been launched throughout the years.

As a celebration for the milestone of serving people for 10 years, Force Thirteen is set to give its largest showcase for an entire week. The Force Thirteen Week would run from November 29th to December 5th and will feature elements of everything ever done on the project, game shows, compilations, documentaries, animations, and more. It’ll also run it’s second charity event called “Force For Good” on December 4th that will help the people affected by the Haiti earthquake earlier this year.

Today’s events included a round of Super Cyclone Challenge, Force Thirteen’s premier game show, along with monthly summaries for December 2020 and December 2021. To finish the fanfare for the day, an all-new Emergency Management exercise took place, along with the first-ever multiyear animation- covering 1970-2020 South Atlantic Cyclones. While today’s events certainly were exciting, five more days of fun and celebration are on the docket, continuing tomorrow at 22z (6PM EST)!
