The 1957 Atlantic Hurricane Season was a fairly inactive season. Despite that, the season brought impressive storms. In the beginning, the season brought Hurricane Audrey which made a very rare major hurricane landfall in the US in June. The season later consisted of Hurricane Carrie, a long-track major hurricane which tracked through the Atlantic basin for most of the month of September.
