Cyclone Charlotte intensifies off the coast of Western Australia – Video Update

Tropical Cyclone Charlotte was named yesterday in the eastern Indian Ocean, after first appearing over Timor. The storm is now near hurricane strength, and further intensification is likely tonight. Charlotte is expected to stall for a day, and then accelerate southwards, passing Western Australia as it begins weakening over colder waters. Dry air is also nearby, and is likely to take its toll on the storm later in its life.
