DISCUSSION
-----------------------------------
Blake has made landfall just west of Mandora as a Category 1 Tropical Cyclone on the Australian scale based on latest radar observation from Port Hedland, Ap. Blake is producing large areas of shower and thunderstorm activity towards the southern and southwestern periphery of center of the system, in which those areas could receive significant level flooding. This area of convection has since started to wain due to further land interaction and diurnal minimum. Wind shear is currently somewhat low at 10KTS but expected to increase greatly by Jan 8 to about 35KTS. Models are in good agreement that Blake is likely to continue towards the south, further inland in the state of Western Australia, where a sharp turn towards the west could be expected, but likely to have degenerated into below Tropical Low intensity by then. Models have also indicated that Blake is expected to weaken further into a Tropical Depression. The Bureau of Meteorology have issued its last Tropical Cyclone update for Blake, refer to the Bureau's Severe Weather Warning for more details on Ex-Tropical Cyclone Blake.

THIS IS THE LAST REGULARLY SCHEDULED BULLETIN, NO MORE BULLETINS WILL BE ISSUED.
