Tropical Depression Danilo has weakened owing to deteriorating environmental conditions like higher shear values in the mid levels and residual dry air in the mid level. Danilo is however forecast to intensify back into a Tropical Storm yet again as it makes its mark closer towards the Mascarene Islands into a Moderate Tropical Storm. Danilo is then expected to scoot through the islands of Mauritius and Reunion as a tropical storm, which could bring locally heavy rainfall for the region.
