Tropical Storm Nuri continues northwest and has again lost most of its organization due to significant mid level wind shear impacting this system and weakened down into a Tropical Depression. Latest satellite indicates that this system is continuing to produce weakening areas of disorganized shower and thunderstorm activity in association with its lower level trough, which was still evident by latest scatterometer pass, indicative that it no longer possesses a Low Level Circulation Center (LLCC) and has lost tropical cyclone status. Nevertheless, rain threat continues as this system makes landfall over southern China.
