Invest 91E Could Impact Mexico – Live Update
Newly-designated invest 91E could pose a threat to Mexico, as the potential for the first named storm of the year in the Eastern Pacific increases. Environmental conditions are conducive for additional development, and a tropical depression is expected to form later today or Saturday while it moves westward at 5 to 10 mph. The system is expected to turn northward and strengthen while it moves toward southern Mexico over the weekend, where heavy rainfall and flash flooding are possible regardless of tropical development.
