Tropical Storm Mitag Impacting South Korea
As of 15z on October 2, 2019, Tropical Storm Mitag was located at 34.4N 126.3W and had a 1-minute sustained wind speed of 45mph and a pressure of 990mb and was moving northeast at 25mph. Mitag brings with it the possibility of damaging rainfall over large parts of the Korean Peninsula.

Mitag is expected to over over the southern part of the Korean Peninsula and also impact northern Japan where potentially life-threatening conditions could occur. All residents in the Korean Peninsula and Japan should be on alert and monitoring their local weather agencies.
