Tropical Storm Eta re-intensifies north of Cuba; Hurricane Warnings issued
Tropical Storm Eta is intensifying yet again, as the storm moves towards the northwest, and threatening the Florida coast.
Eta is now located at 22.5 degrees north, 79.2 degrees west, at about 90 nautical miles west of Canagua, Cuba, or 235 nautical miles south-southeast of Miami, Florida. The storm has a maximum sustained winds of 65mph and a pressure of 993 millibars. The storm is forecast to move northeast, then curve towards the northeast. The storm is extremely close to the south of Florida, so if you are under a warning, please prepare for this storm.

Warnings currently issued by the National Hurricane Center is as follows:
- A Storm Surge Warning is in effect for: the Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the Dry Tortugas, including Florida Bay
- A Storm Surge Watch is in effect for: the Florida coast from Golden Beach to Bonita Beach, including Biscayne Bay
- A Hurricane Warning is in effect for: the Florida Keys from Ocean Reef to the Dry Tortugas, including Florida Bay
- A Hurricane Watch is in effect for: the Florida coast from Deerfield Beach to Bonita Beach
- A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for: the Cuban provinces of Camaguey, Ciego de Avila, Sancti Spiritus, Villa Clara, Cienfuegos, and Matazanas,
- the northwestern Bahamas, including the Abacos, Andros Island, Berry Islands, Bimini, Eleuthera, Grand Bahama Island, and New Providence,
- the Florida coast from Brevard/Volusia County line to Englewood including Florida Bay, and
- Lake Okeechobee
- A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for: the Cuban provinces of La Habana, Artemisa, Mayabeque, Pinar del Rio, and the Isle of Youth, and
- the Florida coast from north of Englewood to Anna Maria Island.
