Force Thirteen produces these products for the sole purpose of cyclone and severe weather tracking— providing members of the public with accessible content in a timely manner. Our satellite imagery products update every 10 minutes, with a delay of around 25 to 35 minutes occurring from RealEarth servers. GOES Mesoscale imagery updates every 60 seconds, with a delay of around 2 to 4 minutes, while Himawari Target Area imagery updates every 10 minutes, with a delay of around 10 to 12 minutes. The coordinates for GOES Mesoscale data is provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) NESDIS Satellite Applications and Research (STAR) program, while the coordinates for Himawari Target Area data is provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency's (JMA) Observation information webpage.
