DISCUSSION ----------------------------------- Surprise to another South Atlantic tropical storm which is southeast of Uruguay! Recent frames showed that it's moving NE and detached from the front fully and acquiring more tropical characteristics. In recent frames, what's more, twin curling CBs that reaches tropopause temperature also occurred, although anticyclonic flow is still insignificant, which suggests that it has met enough criteria to be classified as a tropical cyclone that originated from an extratropical cyclone even under rather cold SST. It's expected to continue its development and moving northeastward with speed to 30km/h, with likeliness to be designate as the SECOND SOUTH ATLANTIC HURRICANE in record after Catarina, before weakening and merge with the jet stream again.
