Vongfong continues inland over southern Luzon and has weakened down into a Tropical Depression. Vongfong continues to large areas of disorganized showers and thunderstorm activity as it continues being over land and additional weakening is expected. It is now likely to move back out to sea and intensification is not likely. Latest satellite indicates most of its convection being blown off of Luzon, and additional intensification is no longer likely.
