Moderate Tropical Storm Jeruto has weakened down to a Tropical Depression by MétéoFrance aa it continues southwest in the eastern region of the Southwest Indian Ocean. This system is currently producing sheared convection to the south and southeast of the system, and has shown signs of weakening as it succumbs to higher shear values. Latest microwave pass indicates that this system is producing deep convection at the east of the center as wind shear intrudes into the system.
