DISCUSSION ----------------------------------- Deep convection continues to shroud the center of the system as Dolphin forms far south of Japan. Latest microwave pass from AMSR2 indicated that there was a pseudo eyewall, albeit weak, trying to form over the center but has soon lost the identity of it. Dolphin is expected to continue moving northward and intensify slowly over the next few days as it closes into Japan.
