DISCUSSION
-----------------------------------
Tropcial Cyclone Tino continues to accelerate southeastward and has exited Tonga. This system is producing large areas of associated convection over the center, and all the convection have started to be displaced towards the southeast under the influence from westerly wind shear. Latest microwave pass from DMSP-F17 indicates that the system have lost its eyewall and eye structure since 12 hours ago, and all that is left is convection of the remnants of the eyewall displaced towards the northeast with dry air intrustion from the west. Wind shear has increased to 20KTS and expected to increase exponentially to unfavorable levels. Sea surface temperatures are unfavorable for tropical development at 25C and expected to drop as it continues towards the mid-latitudes of the south pacific ocean. Models are in excellent agreement that Tino is likely to move towards the southeast weakening.
