IMD has just upgraded Cyclonic Storm Gati into a Severe Cyclonic Storm. Gati currently has strong winds up to 125mph and a pressure of 955mb, making it as a Category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale.

Gati is currently predicted to make landfall on Somalia as a Category 3 on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale. This could possibly make a historic landfall on Somalia as this could make catastrophic damage on Somalia. Hafun city is currently the predicted place of landfall.
